Biker killed in crash named

A motorcyclist killed in a crash south of Warminster on Wednesday has been named as 47-year-old Adrian Jones. Mr Jones, of Aylesbury, Bucks, was riding his Suzuki Bandit 1200cc bike on the B3092 from Maiden Bradley to Frome at 10.30am when he collided with a lorry travelling in the opposite direction. The biker had been trying to overtake vehicles when, for reasons unknown, he lost control and hit the lorry. He was pronounced dead at the scene.  more...
