G W Moore suggests that Swindon Council should provide a Park and Ride service from the Link Centre to the Great Western Hospital (SA, February 16).

The link Mr Moore wants already exists. If he leaves his car at the Link Centre, bus service number 19 will take him to the front door of the hospital in a little more than half an hour. The daytime service 19 operates every 20 minutes.

The return bus fare is £2.20. If Mr Moore is a senior citizen, the journey will be free from April 1.
