RETROSPECTIVE plans for the installation of two roof lights in a garage at Kingsdown, Corsham, have concerned Box Parish Council, which fears the space is being used as living accommodation.
Previously planning permission was granted for a dwelling at Downedge, which included a detached garage.
But Box Parish Council has objected to the Velux windows in the garage on the grounds that it is being used as a separate dwelling and the height appears to have been raised to allow occupancy.
Planning officer Charmian Burkey said the garage was temporarily being occupied but that was being investigated separately and was not a matter for the application.
She recommended that permission be granted when it comes before North Wiltshire District Council's planning committee on Wednesday evening.
