MODEL railway enthusiasts are in for a treat at a special show in Colerne Village Hall on January 28.
It is hoped the model railway day will throw up some gems for the Bassett-Lowke and Hornby world of trains dating from the 1900s through to the 1960s.
The event, for participators and spectators, is being organised by the Friends of Colerne Church in conjunction with the Bassett-Lowke Society.
Organisers are appealing for anyone with Gauge O locomotives or rolling stock, electric or clockwork and coarse scale to bring them along to the village hall to see them run on the extensive tracks that will be available or for display.
Refreshments, including light lunches, will be available on the day.
The model railway day will be held in the village hall at Martin's Croft from 10am-5pm.
Admission costs £3 for adults with accompanied children free.
