Countdown to the big day

From the Swindon Advertiser, first published Tuesday 31st Jan 2006.

PLANNING a Wedding is not something you can leave until the last minute!

MOST people associated with the wedding industry recommend that the main items - church, reception, venue, photographer / videographer - are booked at least 12 months in advance; and up to 24 months for the most sought after people and places at the height of the season.

Wedding dresses, be they hand made or shop brought, often take up to six months to prepare, and even florists, bakers and wedding card specialists require plenty of notice to ensure that your wedding day runs smoothly.
