In W Duggan's letter (Jan 14), he states that our town is becoming underdeveloped compared to others.
He then goes on to "wish our local eco-warriors would channel their efforts into other worthwhile campaigns such as getting so much traffic off the roads of Swindon" instead of trying to save Coate.
Hilarious. Does this person think that the thousands of imported students, owners of the 1,800 homes and commuters to the proposed business park are all going to arrive by Tardis?
