LEE Peacock has confined Town's Southend shocker' to the history books and ordered his teammates to show some balls!'.
Friday's 2-0 defeat in Essex was another bitter blow in the County Ground side's battle against the League One drop, but former Sheffield Wednesday man Peacock insists they have no time to dwell on it.
Walsall come calling tomorrow night the start of a crucial five-game sequence that includes four home encounters.
And, as the big striker, pictured, is well aware, that could go a long way to deciding Town's destiny.
"It's disappointing when you get beaten but you must not let your head down,'' said the No 9.
"It's time to get your chin up and keep battling.
"It's tough when you are down where we are, but you have to show a bit of balls.
"Everybody has got to put their head on the line and battle for things. We have to make ourselves hard to beat at least.'' The Southend defeat meant Town yet again failed to follow a victory (the 4-2 triumph over Bournemouth) with another, something they haven't managed this season.
And Peacock admitted: "It's frustrating for everyone, especially coming off the back of the Bournemouth result where we did well all over the pitch.
"For one reason or another we didn't connect, but the good thing is that now we have a game against Walsall.
"It's good that the games are coming thick and fast because you have the chance to put that right quickly.
"The lads will be looking forward to it. They can't wait to get going again because they believe in their own ability but, for one reason or another, perhaps we didn't gel too well at Southend.
"There wasn't the fluency there was against Bournemouth and that's something we have to work on.
"Everyone is in it together, we can't have anyone hiding.
"But I've only been here a week and I know there are no hiders in the squad.'' The Scottish striker added: "Little things can trigger games. Just nailing someone in a tackle not in a bad way can be a trigger point for the rest of the team.
"As soon as one person goes, everybody has to be with him. Without being disrespectful, at the moment it's in dribs and drabs.
"But we don't want the season to pass us by with us thinking We could have picked up points there.'"
