Rules on TV licensing

From the Salisbury Journal, first published Monday 30th Jan 2006.

IN response to the letter (Postbag, January 5) on the elderly and TV licensing, I would like to clarify that it is the government, not TV Licensing, that determines the level of the licence fee and any concessions.

In the case of the Accommo-dation for Residential Care scheme, there are strict rules laid down by parliament regarding eligibility for the scheme.

For more information on the rules of the scheme or to find out if they are covered by an ARC licence, wardens or administrators should call us, on 0870 240 1291.
