Talented youngsters had the chance to show what they could do when the Devizes Eisteddfod returned.

St Francis School at Pewsey hit a rich vein of form and its pupils won many of the top prizes.

But the standard generally was high and the new organisers were encouraged by the turn-out and support for the event which is to be restored as a regular fixture.
