IN REPLY to Mr Thipthorpe (SA Jan 24) I would like to say thank you on my own behalf and many others for his voluntary work for us who are unable to do the most simple of tasks through disability or handicap.

I hope that you find some other person prepared to volunteer to help in your hours of need.

Dial-A-Ride gives us a lifeline to the world as we used to know it. My wife and I (we have multiple sclerosis) need people like yourself to make life run smoother.
