From the Wiltshire Times, first published Friday 27th Jan 2006.

STUDENTS at Wiltshire College Lackham were celebrating after receiving their Certificate in Education last week.

Thirty-eight students attended a graduation ceremony at Lackham House, near Lacock, on Friday to be presented with their certificates.

The Certificate in Education is aimed at teachers and trainers in post-16 education or training.

Tutor Pauline Adams said: "Students receiving their certificate are from a variety of teaching backgrounds such as plumbing, social work, IT, police, horticulture and psychology.

"The students should be proud of their achievement as they have combined studying and teaching in a busy year."
