GAZETTE & HERALD - Appeal for town heroes

NOMINATIONS are being invited for one of Chippenham Town Council's prestigious Civic Awards.

The accolades, which were set up to celebrate unsung heroes, will recognise people who have made a contribution to the advancement, well being and welfare of people in the town.

Nominees can have supported charitable work in the town, worked as volunteers or demonstrated outstanding citizenship.

Proposal forms are available from the town hall. They must be completed by both a proposer and a seconder who are residents and returned by February 27.
